Kajitsu offers two menus: a four-course "Kaze" and an eight-course "Hana". Kajitsu's menu is entirely vegan because they serve shojin ryori which is basically Buddhist temple food scaled up.
DINNER Tue-Sun 5:30pm - 10:00pm (8:00pm L.O.). There is a ten-course “Omakase” ($120) menu include seasonal dessert and matcha as well. The menus change monthly, incorporating seasonal vegetables and nama fu, an important protein source for Shojin cuisine made from wheat gluten and rice flour.
Kajitsu's menu is entirely vegan because they serve shojin ryori which is basically Buddhist temple food scaled up. Their menu changes with the seasons so expect lots of root veggies in winter, tomatoes and corn in summer, and so on. Kajitsu is an incredible Vegan fine dining yet understated experience. It is a solid choice for vegans and those who want to experience vegan food in haute couture.
